My Day of Contagious Gratitude

Thanks to Inspired by Family Magazine hosting the 21 Days of Contagious Gratitude, today is my day to share with you something I am grateful for.

Besides God, a loving husband, a roof over our head, food in our kitchen, and all of the other things I am grateful for, I am also thankful for my kids. Not just because I have been blessed to give birth to them and be their mom, staying at home watching them grow every single day and being their teacher, but also because of the fact that they get along and bond with each other every single day.

This is unusual for me, as my two brothers and I always fought with each other.  We did not get along until our teenage years.  I watch my two kids together and as cheesy as it sounds, sometimes my eyes will threaten to overflow with tears watching how beautiful they are when they interact together.  Do not get me wrong, there are times my 3.5 year old is a little too aggressive with her 1.5 year old brother but almost always it’s by accident.

I am taking this post to spotlight my two beautiful children together.

Wow, this is my baby brother!

Hey, they even look alike! Therefore, I call Esmeralda and Emilio with a made up name of “Esmilio” :)

Still look alike :)

So yeah, I’m one of those moms who rave about their kids all of the time.  They are my world.  I love that they love each other and do everything together.  I can only hope little baby Isabella coming in February takes to her brother and sister as much as the first two do.

What are you grateful for today?
