Nature Alphabet Book: Narcissus

For letter N, Esmeralda and I wanted to take a look at a flower so we ended up looking at Narcissusthe Narcissus.  There is actually a lot of interesting facts about the Narcissus that was a learning experience even for me! We got our information from The Flower Expert. Here is some of what we learned:

  1. Most popular flower in Germany!
  2. Some species include jonquils, daffodils, and paper whites!
  3. Mostly native to the Mediterranean region!
  4. Available from November to April!
  5. Most common species found growing in North America were brought over from Europe!

Esmeralda likes flowers so she enjoyed hearing the information about them.

Here is Esmeralda’s coloring page of narcissus flowers!
